Snow In Beaumont!!!

What a great morning! After waking up at 2:30 AM for the puppy's regular schedule trip outside. I saw the most beautiful site, SNOW, SNOW, AND MORE SNOW. Had to wake everyone. What a wonderful gift from God this Christmas season. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Merry Christmas 2008

Thankful that we could all be together for Thanksgiving. Pat, Jenna and I helped serve at the Salvation Army Thanksgiving Day. Jody and Jesseca were home from college. Went to Carthage for a few days. Met with the builder. Toby (new puppy) and the goats had a great time on the farm. Just thankful for the our time together!

Hurricane Ike Relief Livestock Show 2008

Thanks to all who helped with the Hurricane Ike Relief Livestock Show 2008. So many have come together to help the future leaders of tomorrow.

To our buyer Wright's Scrap Metal, (Mel, Nessie, Jack, Shirley, and all the others) thank you for buying Jenna's goat and chicken.

Also, we would like to thank Adam Skinner for his help with goat and chickens. The support he has shown during this time is greatly appreciated. Thanks again Adam.

Pat and I are so proud of our Jr FFA daughter. She did a great job not only in the show arena, but from start to finish with her goat (Ranger) and the chicken. Placing 2nd in her class with the goat, then placing 12th out of all the goats. The chicken placed 9th out of all. Even though the chickens were nasty and the goat (Ranger) stole our hearts, God blessed us with great buyers. They gave both back to her. Ranger will get to live out his life on a farm in town that she can visit daily and the chickens will be donated. We have learned alot during the past six months, but seeing the smile on our child's face for a job well done.....PRICELESS!!!

Please pray for us as we start looking for her next project. Due to Hurricane Ike the fair has moved to March 26 - April 5, 2009. Thank you and God bless.

I just found out today, my best friend is moving back to Beaumont. Can't wait. Lord, thank you for answering this prayer.

After Hurricane Ike

We evacuated to Carthage, during Hurricane Ike. Only minor damages. Pat was able to return home on Sunday evening after the storm. Jenna and I returned home the following Friday. Finally, power was restored on Monday 9/22/08 about 1:00. Thankfully, we had the generator to run frig and freezer. Thanks for all the prayers. Please continue to pray for the surrounding areas that lost everything.

Jody has started orientation for nursing school. Please pray for him.

Jesseca completed her first year at A&M.
